  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2

In a shallow Bowl , combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Step 3

In a separate shallow Bowl , beat eggs.

Step 4

Dip chicken breasts in egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.

Step 5

Heat olive oil in a large Skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 6

Add chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

Step 7

Place chicken breasts in a baking dish.

Step 8

Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.

Step 9

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
